One-day hat course. 21 August 2011. During the day you will learn about the hat design and to produce patterns to make your hat. Different materials gives different surface.
We will test the elements of Nunotovning = we felt fabric into the wool and getting the nunodesign. We will dest Other ways to decorate the hat. We are shaping the hat and make it ready for use.
Please bring old towels to wrap the work in. Tough outfit, and if you have something you want to decorate your hat, you can bring that. For exsample a knitted or crochet, embroidery,
fabric, or something else that can be caught in the wool in felting. All other materials, I provided here.
Price 450kr + stock (stock 150-200kr).

Weekend Course to make the tunic / dress. 26-28 August 2011. The first day will be on Friday evening. Then we go through technology and begin to consider how the model should look like.
We measure and make patterns and do
swatch of the material to be used.
Day 2 Saturday wool is placed on the pattern and decoration is applied. This will take much time of the day. Then the felting starts.
Day 3 Sunday Continuation of felting and form to complete your garment. If we have time to color, we also, we will see if we have time.
Lunch and refreshments included both days. Evening sandwich on Friday.
Price 450kr/day + stock (stock a little difficult to calculate, depending on how much wool and silk you put in, probably 400-500kr).

something thet will fasten in the felted

Expect a bit into the Friday night and also a long Saturday, than we should probably fix this.
The course is good for those who want to produce your own dress in your own style. Or that you want to learn to make their own fabrics for clothing or other means. We use different techniques with wool, silk and fabrics to make your garment unique. It is important to put the wool thinly and evenly so
the garment is thick enough and not making a hole in the felting. Pretty hard pace, it will be, so maybe we should have three regular days, but hopfully it is enough with a weekend with long days.

We make a shape that we felt the design on, we put out the wool around the template of bubble wrap to cushion or a small blanket. Something to felt the picture on. This felts easily and we dry it. You will learn Needlefeltingtechnique
during day 1. We start on the subject you to felt.
Day 2, we continue on the motives and whichever motov you chose, you getting help during the day to get a nice result.

Price 450kr/day + stock (15kr/needle, wool and silk or linen around 150-200kr)
Please bring old towels to wrap work in. Preferably an image you want to felt. I have pictures here too, but if you have an idea what to felt you should bring a picture. Tough outfit. All other materials I provide.
Course is good for those who want to make your own designs in wool with great details. You can use the images for different purposes, pillows, blankets, even for home furnishings, clothing, upholstery or otherwise.
Accommodation available. 100kr/weekend in the guest house. Let us know if you wish to stay.
