Oil painting.
It's a nice feeling to paint with oil, paint is soft and a bit slippery. The colors are mixed with linseed oil or terpinex to dry faster, drying time may otherwise take several weeks. In the bottom of a painting use more diluted color. You may need to let the painting dry in between if the colors getting to mixed. Nowadays there are also water-based oil paints, that do not smell so strong.

Paint with Acrylic.
The results can vary depending on whether you mix with a lot or a little water. It can be painted on a lot of different surfaces. Oil can be painted on top of acrylic paint, but acrylic does not stick to oil color. Akrylfärgern dries quickly so I usually have a floral spray on hand to spray on the palette, so the colors do not dry that fast.

Aquarelle= Watercolor.
The thicker the paper is the better results, you can paint on wet or dry paper, this is a lot to experiment with. The white color is rarely used, you often paint the light areas first and than you fill with darker colors until the painting is finished. If you use good heavy paper the Color can be soaked up more times to be removed without being visible. Thin papers are more fragile and can not withstand as much as the heavy.
