Pattern Production.
Click on image to see more about feltingpattern and Manufacturing. The felt can be made thin and soft, or more stable and hard. The outcome will depend on technique, kind of wool and how thick layer of wool is used. For clothes I prefer Merinowool and silk. To Create the pattern for clothes, I use mostly bubble wrap. Felted wool shrinks about 50% or up to 100% depending of how thin it is outadded, so you will need large sheets of boublewrap when to do a dress for example.

Techniques.

You put bubble wrap in layers with wool inbetween to get pockets. You do not need not sew things in retrospect. Felt all togehter from the beginning, than you do not need to sew.
The actual expression is easily close to nature in the structure of the material. As decoration, yarn, knitted things, silk and fine fabrics as wool felted into work wonders. Silk gives a glow which is especially beautiful.
